Your Brain Will Swear It’s Hollow

Magnesium is so absurdly light that picking it up feels like a glitch in physics. At just 6 grams, it is the lightest metal in the entire collection—weighing less than a standard plastic die despite being CNC-machined from a solid metal billet. It feels like a feather in your hand, rolls with hyper-agile speed across the tray, and makes a bright, crisp acoustic clatter that instantly sets it apart from heavy dense metals.

Specifications

Material 100% Solid Magnesium Alloy
Finish CNC Machined
Dimensions 16 mm (Standard Casino Size)
Weight 6 g / 0.2 oz
Density 1.74 g/cm³ (So light it feels like defying gravity)
Origin Crafted in Toronto, Canada
Why Machinists Sweat Over It (The Craftsmanship Story)

Magnesium is notorious in machine shops because fine shavings can actually catch fire if cut too aggressively! Machining a solid 16mm cube requires slow, carefully cooled CNC passes to produce a die with razor-sharp tolerances and zero internal voids.

Care Instructions
  • Roll anywhere safely: At just 6 grams, this is the only metal die in our lineup that is 100% safe to roll directly on bare wood desks, glass tables, or fragile board games without a padded tray.
  • Keep dry: Magnesium can oxidize over time if left sitting in standing water or high humidity; wipe dry after handling.
Why Magnesium?

If our 68-gram Tungsten die is an anvil, Magnesium is a feather. It is the ultimate conversation piece for showing people just how wild the density difference between real metals can be.
