WHY A SET OF DICE?
Every die is precise, but no two metals feel the same. Each has its own weight, texture, and history, making the set a collection of distinct pieces.

Integrity, Inside and Out.
What is the value of a perfect surface if its core is a compromise? Most dice are cast from molten chaos. We choose a more demanding path, carving each die from a solid billet of pure metal.¹ This preserves the metal’s inner grain, its unbroken history. It ensures the perfection you see reflects the perfection you can't.
MetalMuseum™. A Timeless Indulgence.
Learn, Compare and Contrast.
It's truly an experience to work with a wide range of materials to create identical objects that feel totally different. The color, texture, weight and the way the material reacts makes each ring feel truly unique.

22 47.867Ti Titanium18 g / 0.6 ozWhen titanium metal is heated to a specific temperature, it forms a thin oxide layer on its surface, which causes a stunning range of colors, including blue. This blue hue is the result of light interference, where the oxide layer reflects and refracts light at certain wavelengths, creating a vibrant, iridescent effect.
-
26 55.845Fe Iron28 g / 1.0 ozGray iron G2 is a type of cast iron that contains a higher percentage of carbon, which results in distinctive gray colored fracture surfaces due to the presence of graphite flakes within the grain structure. Over time, gray iron develops a natural attractive grayish appearance, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.

74 183.84W Tungsten68 g / 2.4 ozA dense, silvery white metal known for its remarkable strength and high melting point of 3,422°C (6,192°F), the highest of any metal. It is highly resistant to corrosion and wear.
-
79 196.966Au Gold28 g / 1.0 ozWith a base metal of stainless steel this Golden dice has a layer of real gold electro plated on to the surface. A heavy deposition layer is done to create a durable long lasting finish.
-
29 63.546Cu Copper35 g / 1.2 ozCopper is a reddish metal known for its excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. It is highly malleable, ductile, and corrosion resistant, making it essential for electrical wiring. Copper is also an important alloying metal.
-
27 58.933Co Cobalt35 g / 1.2 ozCobalt is a hard, silvery-gray, ferromagnetic metal essential for high-temperature superalloys, lithium-ion battery cathodes, and vivid blue pigments in glass and ceramics.
-
40 91.224Zr Zirconium27 g / 1.0 ozZirconium black is created by heating a pure zirconium bar to form a sleek black finish through heat induction, which generates a protective zirconium oxide layer. Known for its durability, corrosion resistance, and hypoallergenic properties, it is highly valued in luxury industries like jewelry and watchmaking.

I have always felt that some things are just nice to own. They might have a “real” use, but that’s not the main point. The main point is that they can inspire new ideas and thoughts, start conversations, teach you something new, remind you of something bigger, bring back great memories, or be something personal that only you truly get. Unfortunately, the modern world doesn’t offer such artifacts very often. Everything is made to be consumed and produced cheaply to maximize profits. Things that are nice to own aren’t made cheaply and they’re not designed to feel outdated when a newer, “better” version comes out next quarter. And while owning great conversation starters like an old industrial robot, a firetruck, or a chainsaw cannon is awesome, they don’t exactly fit into modern life, unless you’ve got a huge workshop, lots of space, and a very understanding wife. That’s where the journey began that led to the Museum Dice Collection. Dice that are just… nice to own.
